Woman Documents The Life Of Her Cats And It’s Probably The Cutest Thing You’ll See Today (30 New Pics)
No doubt that, if given a choice, folks would prompt for living as a cat in a heartbeat. Being a human is overrated anyway. And very stressful.
Instead, you could reincarnate as a feline who’s capable of cuteness beyond belief, is perfect for cuddles and rough-housing, and who, without fault, embodies the definition of a care-free lifestyle.
One such purrfect example is Grisù the Kurilian Bobtail from Italy.

This cat is sucking on it's paw. I've seen this before with on of my cats.
Meet Grisù, the Kurilian Bobtail from Italy, who has taken the world by storm with his adorable looks and care-free lifestyle as an Instagram influencer of sorts. Catfluencer…?
Anywho, the kitty’s internet presence is based on the Instagram page of his human companion—Alessandra Bendetti—which currently clocks in at nearly 60,000 followers.
Now, if Grisù looks all too familiar, it is because it should be. Back in 2020—right before covid hit the scene—Bored Panda featured a listicle on Grisù and his very care-free lifestyle.
Back then, Alessandra told Bored Panda that the ginger furball is her real-life partner, a “shadow” with an exceptional character.
She described Grisù as a stubborn cat, but one whose silliness knows no bounds or caliber. Despite being a tenacious little critter, Grisù is as loyal as a dog can be, which is rare for cats.
And you can see the unbreakable bond in the pictures themselves. The feline friend seems to be very comfortable with his human companion.
For context, Kurilian Bobtails are a Russian cat breed that are predominantly wild-looking and have the so-called “pom-pom” tail.
Despite its seemingly wild appearance, most Kurilian Bobtails are gentle, friendly, and are fully domesticated.
The cat on the left looks as majestic as Kate Winslet on the Titanic poster.
Historically, the breed hails from the remote islands of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula. The reason it has kinda sorta spread beyond this area is due to the fact that sailors, soldiers and cat lovers in Russia and Europe love the breed and made sure it sees more of this world. It’s rare to see a pure bobtail of this Kurilian kind out in the rest of the world, but they do happen.
From a physical standpoint, an adult cat can grow up to 18 inches (or nearly 46 centimeters) in length and weigh as much as 15 pounds (or 6.8 kilograms).
The color variety is strong with this breed, with possible coat colors being brown, orange, gray, cream, black, and white, coat patterns including solid, bicolor, tabby, calico, and tortoiseshell, and the coat itself can be short-hair or semi-long hair.
As is the case with most cats, the Kurilian Bobtail is keen on learning things and is thus intellectually curious (not to mention, hence intellectually apt for a cat).
Alessandra already pointed out some of the key character traits of this breed, so it should come as no surprise that it can easily learn tricks—not just be loyal—like a dog.
Like Maine Coons, Kurilian Bobtails are naturally rather active, so providing the cat with ample opportunity to move around the house—both vertically and horizontally—is the way to go. Think cat trees and kitty condos, but also, because they are playful like that, partaking in some feather wand and wind-up toy mouse action is both good for the cat and for you.
Since cats mostly live a stress-free life, you can especially see it with the Kurilian Bobtail as they are often very healthy from a genetic perspective. At least that’s the case with responsible and ethical breeders.
As for nutrition, obesity is common among all cats, not just these in general, so you will be more than fine if you keep an eye on that factor—measured amounts of food twice a day and avoiding free-feeding to eliminate mindless snacking all the while providing enough reason to exercise.
My thoughts exactly.... like, they're pretty, but some things just look a little too smooth. And that one of the cat and the butterfly so close to each other... I dunno, wouldn't a cat try to swat at it or something, as opposed to... well, a "butterfly kiss" of sorts?
Load More Replies...Those pics are a vision of purrfection: happy cats by the sunny Italian seaside. :-)
I want to be a happy cat by the Italian seaside! 😺
